πͺ Why I Started Baking for More Than Just Fun
I’ve always loved baking.
As a little girl, I’d stand on a stool in my grandma’s kitchen, sneaking chocolate chips and trying not to get caught while she mixed up her famous cookies. Back then, baking was fun. It was messy and sweet and full of memories I didn’t even realize I’d carry into adulthood.
Fast forward to now—and baking is still fun, but it’s become so much more than that.
It’s become therapy.
It’s become a way to reconnect with myself after long days of being “Mom” or “Wife” or “Multi-Business Owner.”
It’s become something I do with intention.
But most of all, baking became a way to share love and create joy for other people—and that changed everything.
π§ Baking Became My Bridge
Starting Treats by Trin wasn’t just about offering cookies or cupcakes. It was about offering connection.
It was about helping someone surprise a friend, celebrate a birthday, or just make a Tuesday feel a little sweeter.
I realized I didn’t have to be a big commercial bakery to create moments that matter.
I could do it from my kitchen—with my toddler playing nearby, flour on the floor, and a heart full of purpose.
π Baking, But Make It Personal
When someone places an order, I don’t see “just another customer.”
I picture the mom surprising her kid after school.
The friend sending cookies to say “I’m thinking of you.”
The couple sharing cupcakes on their anniversary.
Every batch is baked with heart—because I know what these moments mean.
π Why It Matters
Treats by Trin isn’t just about sugar and frosting (though let’s be real... those are the fun parts π°).
It’s about creating something meaningful. Something made with care.
It’s about building a business that lets me be present with my daughter while doing something I genuinely love.
So yes—I still bake for fun. But now I also bake for freedom, for connection, and for the joy it brings to the people who order from me.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
